Jensen Designs employs a three-phase approach to our design method,
each phase consisting of individual tasks and goals. The design process
includes the following three major phases:
In the concept and design phase we familiarize ourselves with the
goals and objectives the communications program is to achieve. We
can now begin to visualize the personality, character, and tone of the
company.
Based on this information, we proceed to develop rough sketches and
draft text followed by tighter comprehensive sketches which represent
the finished material. At this time, each element of the communications
program is addressed as to its design, text, color, and function.
With design decisions finalized, we produce finished digital art, ready
for production. This phase includes digital layouts, illustration, photography,
and presentation of art proofs.
The production phase involves the actual production of the finished
material. We select competent bidders for the work involved, review
layouts with bidders, assist in the bid negotiation, and administer the
award of contracts to the successful bidder. Jensen Designs supervises
the various contractors for quality control.
